Other things are afoot here today, some of them shop-update-and-blog-giveaway things, so I shall keep the Palette Pingponging brief.
1. Gabrielle challenged me with an unexpectedly muted photograph, which you can see here.
2. I used it to create this pretty, neutral-ish colour swatch.
3. I cheated with my finished project.
You might remember this PPP project from earlier last year. It's been downloaded a lot - really, a lot a lot - mostly thanks to a mention on one of my favourite blogs, How About Orange. And as people responded so very positively to it, I thought the least I could do by way of showing a little gratitude was to freshen it up ready for a new season's printing and card-sending.
The new colourway makes it look really quite different, but what's that now? You want a card that says something different, too? No problemo. You can now pick from three sentiments - 'oh, hello', 'happy birthday' or my new favourite, 'you are lovely'.
Obviously, that mention of 'printing' up there only applies to people who have ink in their printer. Not the type of people who never remember to buy inks until they've actually run out and so can't print for days at a time. Know anyone like that?
Nope. Me neither.
It's just a complete coincidence I don't have a printed-out version of the card to show you here.
Complete. Coincidence.
