Hola festive types, and welcome to the last pingpong post of 2010. In light of the occasion - and the time of year (I'm not going to mention the 'c' word) - I decided to push the boat out and make you something a little bit fun and hopefully quite a lot useful. If sales of the printable gift tags in my Etsy shop have been anything to go by over the last few days, it's pretty much a present-wrapping riot out there at the moment.
But first the colour palette.
Gabrielle's challenge this week was one of my favourites so far, not least because she picked a photo by an artist we both adore. You can find it over at her blog, the green gal, and this here is the faintly festive collection of shades it inspired:
I have to say, I'm pretty smitten with that smallish swatch, especially the orange. Who knew it could work so well as a Christmas colour? And there you go - I've gone and mentioned the word, so we may get on with the whole shebang now.
Here you go with a sheet of pretty gift tags, all ready to print out in the hope Grandma doesn't get your nephew's space hopper, and Dad doesn't end up opening the bunny slippers you bought for your sister.
You can download the full sheet here, and print onto medium-weight cardstock (recycled would be good) or, if you're not a fan of tie-on labels, try a sticker sheet so you can just peel off and press them into place as labels.
Want more? You can still find the printable baggage-style tags over here . . .
. . . and, just in case you've fallen for the little angel in amongst that free tag sheet, I've just added a few DIY kits to the shop so you can make a tiny host of your own.
It really is beginning to look a lot like . . . well, you know. That time of year.
x
