Is it just me, or do Thursdays seem to roll around surprisingly quickly? It only feels like a couple of hours since I challenged Gabrielle with last week's Palette Pingpong but here we are, about to do it all over again.
This time, it was Gabs who set the challenge (you can find the photo in question over at her blog), and this is the pretty colour swatch it inspired:
Rather than using all of the colours, I've gone with a little project that takes just a small selection and borrows the rest of its inspiration from the subject of the original photo.
The vintage wallpaper collection I mentioned a few weeks ago proved the perfect starting point for a blue-hued, patchwork-inspired greetings card. It was going to be a plain and simple 'happy birthday', but in celebration of the fact Gabrielle's new website, the green gables, went live earlier this week, I've gone with 'congratulations' instead.
